Commissioning

  • Assemble the trimmer from its parts
  • Grease the angular gear before starting
  • Mix petrol & oil. Use 25:1 for the first 10 hours of operation
  • First start: See manual below
  • Max. half an hour of operation before cooling down.
  • Grease the angual gear after first hour of operating and every 10 subsequent hours of operating.

Operational usage

  • To avoid overheating, never operate the device longer than half an hour or one full fuel tank at a time. Waiting time: The same as operational time (source: Manual below 'first usage')
  • Remove grass that gets stuck around the head
  • Don't operate the device continuesly at full power. After every move from left to right (or vice verse), let go of throttle
  • Lengthen the fish wire. See manual below.

String

Restringing the trimmer: Just watch these videos:

Additions:

  • Use 2.5 meter of string. Make a strong fold (I use my teeth for that in the middle)
  • Put the fold of the string in the notch between the two 'lanes' in the spool
  • Wrap the lines loosely in their lanes. At the end, fix them in the notches in opposite side of the spool - It's quite handy: The lines are less likely to unwrap on their own
  • Guide both sides of the line through the outside holes
  • Hold ring & spring in place and put spool in house
  • Put enclosure on top of spool. Press spool down with the 'bump' in the middle of the enclosure
  • Align the four closing notches
  • Turn closure clockwise - Not anticlockwise, as the text on the enclosure seems to suggest
  • Make sure all four closing notches are functioning.

Manual - Installation

The manual seems to be only available in Polish. It also isn't very complete. E.g., it didn't mention the 'fish line cutter' that is part of the shield. Here are some translations thanks to Google Translate:

Installing the Handlebar (Handlebar)

Place the handle 1 (Fig. 2) in the collet that is already there attached to the shaft tube. Place the collet cover on it 2 (Fig. 2) and screw both parts of the cover together with the handle tube 1 (Fig. 2). The sequence of tightening the handle cover (Fig. 2).

ATTENTION! Check the position of the hands and wrists when grasping steering wheel in normal operation. Keep your hands and wrists light bent. If necessary, correct the angle at which a handle is screwed to the shaft tube.

Installation of the cutting attachment guard (assembly of the safety guard)

Unscrew the clamp securing the safety shield 3 (Fig. 3). Put on the cover as in Fig. 3, put on the fixing band, which should be screwed with the hexagonal bolts 1, 2 (Fig. 3). Attention! Using the scythe without a functional safety guard jeopardizes safety the knife operator and bystanders.

Connecting the drive shaft

Connect the two parts of the pipe with the drive shaft (Fig. 4) until the locking pin 1 engages (Fig. 5). Tighten the nut shown in Fig. 6.

Mounting the cutting attachment

NOTE: Use only original spare parts and cutting attachments recommended by the manufacturer. Must not be used steel wires, strings or other non-original tools.

Assembly of the line spool

  • Unscrew the nut (Fig. 7), the nut turns clockwise.
  • Remove the washer from the stamped sheet metal (Fig. 8),

  • The sequence of all actions is shown in Fig. 15 (1 hexagonal key, 2 washer, 3 three-arm knife, 4 spacer, 5 washer made of embossed sheet metal, 6 nut).

ATTENTION!

Pay attention to the center position of the cutting attachment, such as a three-arm knife. Eccentric attachment of the attachment blade can damage the propeller shaft guard from excessive vibration.

Harnass

Before work, properly set the sling of the harness to the user (Fig. 16):

  • The length of the carrying strap should be adjusted so that the belt hooks on the left shoulder with the strap on mounted on the scythe boom was at the level of the right hip.
  • The harness will go over the left shoulder and the hip protection will be on the right side

operator, in the place where the knife attachment point is located.

  • This cover protects the operator against vibrations of the working scythe, and also protects the clothes before contact with the brushcutter.

Keeping the scythe in balance

Before each use, the harness must be adjusted so that the operator can hold the trimmer without much effort in balance.

  • Place the harness belt on the left shoulder and hook the scythe on it, adjust the position of the hook on the scythe bar to obtain the correct position of the scythe
  • If the trimmer head has been fitted with a line, adjust it so that with free "hanging" of the scythe, the distance of the head from the ground was from 0 to 300 mm. If a blade has been installed in the brushcutter, it should be adjusted so that with free "hanging" of the scythe, the distance of the disc from the ground is from 100 to 300 mm.

Fishing line replacement

(Dit betreft de situatie dat er geen draad meer in de spoel zit en hoe je nieuw draad in de spoel monteert.)

Before replacing the line, check that the head is in working order and not worn out. If signs of wear are visible, please replace the entire head.

  • Stop the brushcutter motor with switch 2 (Fig. 1).
  • Wait for all moving parts of the scythe to stop. Place the scythe with the head facing up on a hard, level surface.
  • Unscrew the head with the line (see chapter: "Mounting the cutting attachment", section: "Mounting the line spool").
  • Press with great force on the latches on both sides of the line head (Fig. 17) and open the head (Fig. 18).
  • Take it out the spool (Fig. 18), line remnants and any contamination.
  • Cut a length of fishing line 2-2.4 mm in diameter and 5 m long and fold it into two equal lengths.
  • The middle of the section is folded in half insert the lines into the special groove in the line spool and wind the entire length of the line on the spool (Fig. 19A).
  • Place both ends of the line in the special holes in the side wall of the head housing (Fig. 19B) so that the line protrudes from each side by about 15 cm.
  • Insert the so-wound spool of fishing line into the head housing and lock it by putting on the cover in the opposite way to its removal, remembering that the spring should be inside the head housing in the reel seat (recess) (Fig. 19C).
  • Attach the head properly and securely.

Manual - Usage - Fuel mixture

Before using for the first time, fill the fuel tank. Use Eurosuper 95 unleaded gasoline and synthetic or semi-synthetic two-stroke engine oil for high-speed rotors.

mixing ratio

Conditions Gasoline: Oil
Up to 10 hours of work 25:1
After 10 hours of work 40:1

Table for mixing 25:1

Amount of gasoline in liters 1 2 3 4 5
Amount of oil in ml 40 80 120 160 200

Table for mixing 40:1

The amount of gasoline in liters 1 2 3 4 5
The amount of oil in ml 25 50 75 100 125

ATTENTION! Most engine problems are caused by an improper or stale mixture, use stale fuel or improper oil.

To prepare the mixture, do not use gasoline that has been stored longer than 30 days - after this period, it may lose its properties and undergo delamination and precipitation of components. It may cause engine performance deterioration, contamination of the fuel supply system, clogged fuel filter or engine seizure. It is forbidden to use "MIXOL" oil and derivatives and oils for 4-stroke engines. The prepared mixture should not be stored longer than 30 days, as after this period it may lose its quality and lubricating properties. With a planned break in the use of the device more than a few days, remove fuel from the fuel tank and fuel system by burning the mixture completely out. The mixture must not be mixed in the fuel tank. To mix the fuel properly, first pour it into a special container (canister) of gasoline and then oil and mix. It is recommended to use the supplied set a special container in which the amount of gasoline and the amount of oil to be added are marked. The whole thing should be exactly mix.

Attention! Shake before each use (the mixture may delaminate). To fill the fuel tank of the brush cutter, unscrew the fuel cap and add the mixture using a funnel

Attention! Too low fuel level in the tank (less than 1/3 volume) can cause unstable engine operation. While working, check the condition of the fuel in the tank.

Manual - First engine start

Before starting the engine for the first time, check the level of grease in the bevel gear.

The engine starting sequence is shown in Figs. 20 to 24.

  • Check that the plug and spark plug are connected.
  • Switch the switch on the right handle of the steering wheel to position "I" (on) Fig. 20.
  • Move the choke lever to the upper position Fig. 21.
  • Press the diaphragm of the fuel pump several times until there is fuel in the fuel lines Fig. 22.
  • Pull the starter rope several times until the engine starts to run or to the first cycle of engine operation Fig. 23.
  • Regardless of whether the engine has started or not, move the choke switch down
  • If the engine is running, it can be started after a few moments, if the engine has not started, pull the starter rope again

ATTENTION!

In very cold weather, if the engine does not start, you can extend the choke cable halfway. Violent pulling and jerking the starter cord can cause mechanical damage to the starter.

ATTENTION!

  • If the engine does not start after trying several times, the spark plug may be flooded. You should then unscrew the spark plug, wipe it and dry it, then pull the starter rope a few times without tugging (without the spark plug ignition), thereby draining the excess fuel from the cylinder. Repeat the entire start-up procedure.
  • If the engine does not start after several attempts, check the troubleshooting table.

To stop the engine, release the throttle, when the engine revs are slow, turn the ignition switch to the position Stop.

ATTENTION!

  • The choke does not need to be engaged if the engine is warm.
  • Do not leave the working scythe at idle for more than 2 minutes - risk of engine seizure and loss of protection warranty.
  • The maximum operating time of the device without interruption is 30 minutes (no longer than work with 1 fuel tank).
  • The time needed for a break is equal to the working time.

IMPORTANT!

  • Before attempting to start the machine, check the length of the starter cord by slowly pulling it out a moment of resistance.
  • Never pull the starter string all the way when starting your equipment.

Manual - Service

Mowing the grass

  • Read the safety instructions in this operator's manual before mowing
  • If you do not have experience check the balance and behavior of the scythe without starting the engine
  • You can turn off the device at any time by switching the switch button Fig. 24 to position "0"
  • ATTENTION! Periodically remove any grass fibers wrapped around the axis of the cutting tool to prevent overheating of the drive axle. Deposits grass and weed fibers are entangled around the drive axle under the safety guard. This prevents proper cooling drive shaft and gears. Remove grass deposits with a screwdriver or similar tool only when the machine is in position Disabled.

Feeding the line

  • If the line is too short, pull it out.
  • The scythe is equipped with a bumper head (Fig. 25). To feed the line

automatically - hit the head lightly on the ground. When doing this, please remember that that the head hitting the ground too hard or too violently may cause it damage, so it is better to slide out the line manually.

To feed the line manually (Fig. 26):

  • Press the button on the circular drum 1 (Fig. 26)
  • Extend the line to the desired length
  • No problem if the line is too long, as the device is equipped with a cutting device, at one of the edges of the shield.

Correct use of the cutting disc

ATTENTION! When using the brush cutter, all protective parts and safety covers must be in working order technically. If the operator does not follow all of the safety precautions, mowing with the blade may cause dangerous reflections.

Pay attention to Fig. 27. When cutting thin one-year-old tree suckers should be use only the part of the target marked with "A" in the illustration. Parts of the shield marked the letter "B" may only be used when the operator's hands are firmly grasped. The use of this part of the wheel is not recommended. The part of the dial marked "NO" is not designed for mowing and for clipping as it can cause 'kickback' which is dangerous to people, animals and property. Do NOT use this part of the disc.

ATTENTION! When using the scythe, all protective parts and safety guards must be in good technical condition. The engine must be stopped and the stop switch must be on when servicing, repairing, and cleaning in the STOP position. During operation, the brushcutter vibrates and the vibrations can cause increasing operator fatigue. You should take regular breaks and the cumulative amount of time you work over an eight-hour working day should exceed three hours. The scythe is equipped with a vibration reduction system. After breaks of several minutes are recommended each hour of work.

Manual - Cleaning, maintenance & storage

The rules of safe maintenance of the device are described in this manual, in the part: "Maintenance and storage", in the chapter "Detailed safety rules for brushcutters".

WARNING! Make sure the engine is turned off and not hot before cleaning, inspecting, or repairing the equipment. Disconnect the cable spark plug to prevent accidental activation of the brushcutter.

Cleaning the air filter

A dirty air filter increases fuel consumption and reduces the efficiency of the combustion engine. The air filter should be clean as needed, at least after every 5 hours of operation. Dust and grass fibers on the filter surface may be removed with a brush. Use compressed air to clean the inside of the filter.

To get to the air filter, press the catches securing the housing filter, undo the catches or unscrew the screw / bolts securing the filter cover 1 (Fig. 28) and remove air filter cover 2 (Fig. 28).
